Magic Is Real

If you live in Eugene, you know the Bier Stein is a local institution. It has been the OG craft beer hub and bottle shop in town for the last 15 years. To celebrate their decade and a half, we partnered with the Stein to create a celebratory beer inspired by famous ales from Belgium and Brussels.

Behold, Magic Is Real, a tart barrel-aged ale with raspberries, blueberries and vanilla beans. The beer is a beautiful ruby red, with a persistent light pink head. It has a big raspberry aroma and fresh berry flavor. The vanilla that underlies the fruit notes is subtle and helps soften the acidity.

The Bier Stein named their anniversary blend “Magic Is Real” because it’s a common phrase among their staff — but it characterizes the beer perfectly as well. With a remarkable hue and wonderfully refreshing taste, it’s the perfect beer for summer and celebration.

This was a small batch, so we may only have bottles available through the summer. If you love fruity and sour beers, this will be your jam! Head out to the tasting room to celebrate with us, celebrate the stein and celebrate our mutual love for beer and sharing it with friends!
