Alesong brings home 3 more GABF medals!

Plus, we were the only Oregon brewery to make it to the final table in the German-Style Pilsener category – Alesong Pilsner placed in the Top 18 of 161 entries!

We earned a GOLD, SILVER, and BRONZE medal from this year’s Great American Beer Festival® (GABF), one of the most competitive stages for craft beer. This marks the 11th consecutive year we’ve medaled at GABF, the third longest streak in the country (!!).

“We are honored to bring home another three medals from the Great American Beer Festival, and we’re stoked about the recognition for our new Pilsner, too,” says Brian Coombs, Director of Operations and Co-Founder. “We put a lot of energy and dedication into making the highest quality beer possible, no matter the style. To be recognized with this highly coveted honor inspires us to keep pushing creativity boundaries.”

Come have a winning flight! 🥇🥈🥉

Starting Thursday, October 15 during regular tasting room hours (12-7 PM Thursday through Sunday), we will offer a tasting flight of these four beers, as well as full glass pours available on draft. This includes the last keg of Bière de Noël — once it’s gone, it’s gone!

  • GOLD in the Herb and Spice Beer category for Bière de Noël, our first-ever Belgian winter ale aged in brandy barrels with a carefully selected blend of baking spices inspired by a family-favorite recipe for Christmas cake.

  • SILVER in the Wood- and Barrel-Aged Strong Stout category for Cherry Decadence, an imperial oatmeal stout bursting with bourbon aroma from Westward Whiskey barrels. Layers of smooth vanilla, toasted oak, and dark chocolate intermix with slightly sweet cherry flavor, creating a chocolate-covered cherry in a glass.

  • BRONZE in the Mixed Culture Brett Beer category for Traditions. Inspired by farmhouse brewing traditions, this blend of oak-aged saison was brewed with Oregon-grown ingredients and matured in seasoned Alesong barrels, showcasing Alesong‘s terroir.

  • FINAL TABLE in the German-Style Pilsener category – Alesong Pilsner placed in the Top 18 of 161 entries and was the only Oregon brewery to advance to the final table in this category.

Here’s a complete list of Alesong GABF® recognition (and other awards).

Thanks for cheering us on!
