Engage with Alesong: Bags of Love

For the month of December, we’re partnering with Bags of Love, to whom we’ll donate 25% of proceeds from all sales of Kriek toward supporting their organization as part of our monthly Engage with Alesong program. We’ll also be hosting them at Alesong on 5th from 5:00-7:00pm on December 2nd for a Happy Hour event to kick off the partnership.

If you aren’t familiar with Bags of Love, for thirteen years they have supported children of Lane County suffering from abuse, neglect, poverty, or homelessness with clothing, toiletries, toys, books, school supplies, and a handmade quilt or fleece blanket.

Holly Amlin, Marketing Coordinator at Alesong, explains why she chose this December partner: “There’s a certain magic that comes from giving a child a gift during the holidays, a magic that Bags of Love delivers all year long. We’ve set up a donation spot at Alesong on 5th so that our patrons can help support their initiatives with more than just dollars spent, but also with items needed by children in our community.”
