LINE COOK & KITCHEN LEAD
The brewery is currently managed and staffed by a small team of 9, and we are seeking to hire a team-oriented culinary enthusiast to lead the day-to-day operations of the Alesong kitchen at our country brewery. We offer a limited, but thoughtful menu that complements our beverage offerings and emphasizes local, high-quality, ingredients. This person will be responsible for prep work and cooking dishes to order, as well as all other general kitchen tasks.
Responsibilities:
· Efficiently execute all kitchen operations including opening prep, cooking, expediting, service, cleaning and closing duties
· Ability to execute all requisite stations within the kitchen
· Provide consistent, high-quality menu items to guests in a timely manner
· Assist with ordering and inventory management
· Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen, adhering to proper food safety protocols at all times
· Assist with kitchen maintenance and upkeep
Required qualifications
· 2 years experience in a professional kitchen
· Professional, warm, and welcoming personal presentation
· Self-motivated and able to act independently
· Keen eye for detail
· Strong communication and inter-personal skills
· Team player enthusiastic about working together to grow a small company
· Must be available on weekends
· Food Handler’s and Safe Serv certifications
Schedule: Full-time Wednesday-Sunday position available. Shifts are afternoon & early evening.
Compensation: $18-$22/hr DOE (plus $3-$7/hr estimated tip pool share), company sponsored health, vision, & dental insurance after probationary period, $100 monthly tasting room credit & beer benefits at releases
