Engage with Alesong: Ballet Fantastique

For the month of February, we’re partnering with Ballet Fantastique, to whom we’ll donate 25% of proceeds from all sales of Touch of Brett toward supporting their organization as part of our monthly Engage with Alesong program. We’ll also be hosting a kick-off event at Alesong on 5th from 12-8pm on February 3rd to jumpstart the partnership. One dollar from each item sold on the 3rd will go toward our end of the month donation.

Brian Coombs, co-founder at Alesong, explains why he chose this February partner: “The work that Ballet Fantastique is doing to revitalize the art of ballet is something that everyone should see. They’re original and incorporate so many rich elements into their performances, like local musicians instead of a formal orchestra. What they’re doing to not only showcase beautiful choreography, but to train the next generation of dancers is of huge value to our community.“

Who is Ballet Fantastique?

If you aren’t familiar with Ballet Fantastique (BFan), they’re a powerhouse for inventive dance theater in the Northwest. Established in 2000, BFan re-imagines the future of dance—building inclusive new audiences through contemporary ballet premieres, training a diverse next generation of artists, and inspiring youth through education programs that reach across traditional access barriers to reach underserved communities.
